Unlike so many other lawyers, we are not quick to recommend a court filing to achieve the desired result. For some, loan modification of their home mortgage or debt negotiations of their credit card debt is the best path to follow. During the consultation process, clients are counseled on these two possible alternatives. Arising from the 2007 “mortgage meltdown” loan modifications remain a viable alternative for some. Debt negotiations are managed very differently from “debt consolidators.” We take each of your credit card debts, organize them by lowest to highest, and work with our clients to arrange for the payment of each as the client can afford.
