About Louis J. Esbin

Louis J. Esbin founded his law firm and has been practicing in Santa Clarita, California (serving the Canyon Country, Valencia, Saugus, Stevenson Ranch, Newhall and Castaic neighborhoods, Antelope Valley, San Fernando Valley and Greater Los Angeles) since 1993, where he provides Bankruptcy Law, Corporate Formation Law, Transactional Law, Merger & Acquisition Law, and Commercial Law services to clients throughout California and other states.

Mr. Esbin currently represents a diverse group of corporate and individual clients including small emerging businesses, corporations and individuals, as debtors and creditors.

His experience in Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York, and as a judicial law clerk to Bankruptcy Court Judges in Northern and Southern California are the cornerstones of his pledge to provide high quality “Big City” legal services to his community and clients. Mr. Esbin counsels his clients on approaching their matters with a practical cost-benefit analysis.

Mr. Esbin is also the founding member of the Santa Clarita Valley Bar Association; a founding member of the Central District Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys Association; a 30 year member of the Santa Clarita Valley Rotary Club in which he President (2015-2016). As the first law clerk to the Honorable Samuel Bufford of the Central District Bankruptcy Court, Mr. Esbin assisted the Court in creating comprehensive procedures for Chapter 13 practice adopted throughout the District. Following the 1994 Northridge Earthquake, Mr. Esbin volunteered through the FEMA to provide legal consultation to his community.

Mr. Esbin has a degree in Business Administration (with a concentration in finance and accounting) from the State University of New York Massry School of Business, with a minor in Sociology. He is admitted to practice by the state of California and the state of Connecticut, and has been admitted to practice specially in courts in Nevada, Texas, Florida and Colorado.
