Dispute Resolution – Mediation

Mr. Esbin is a certified mediator through the Pepperdine University School of Law Straus Institute of Dispute Resolution. Mr. Esbin was chosen from a select group of professionals to attend the certification program in Washington, DC. He is a volunteer mediation panelist for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California, for which yearly his contribution is recognized by the Court. Mr. Esibn’s colleagues choose him as their mediator because of Mr. Esbin’s 40 years of bankruptcy experience, being a certified bankruptcy law specialist, a contributing author for the CEB treatise Mortgages, Deeds of Trust and Foreclosure Litigation, an author of a bankruptcy treatise on Practicing under BAPCPA, and his understanding of corporation formation and governance. Moreover, his colleagues appreciate that he does not walk away from a difficult case and will work outside the box to bring parties together. A mediated solution is almost always better than a litigated one.
