Consumer Education
From 40 years of providing individuals advice and counseling on bankruptcy and insolvency matters has arisen the unique practice of being able to provide Consumer Education … information that empowers them. We provide counseling and advice based upon our own formula we call “Like, Want, Need and Afford.” The advice given on how to use these four words before taking on any purchase (small or large) form a solid foundation for fiscal responsibility. Knowing how to manage one’s finances is the best form of consumer protection. Consumer education also includes understanding one’s rights when a creditor or collection agent calls or a lawsuit to collect a debt is filed. Understanding and appreciating the rights we all have in property and privacy are included in the educational elements provided.
